“Creative Collapse”
55 x 23.5 in — Oil on wood
Created in the aftermath of a personal seizure brought on by overwork, Creative Collapse explores the fragile balance between ambition and well-being. This piece speaks to the moments when we push ourselves to the brink—and the resilience it takes to rise again. Set within an abstracted MRI scene, the human spinal cord becomes a symbolic spine of perseverance. Its 33 vertebrae mirror the 33 years in the life of Jesus, drawing a connection between physical structure, sacrifice, and the spiritual strength found in human vulnerability.
